Power 5 Weekend

The interaction and activity of the five Masonic youth groups continues to grow and thrive as the groups support each other’s activities and programs, including bowling, dances and meetings. The members of DeMolay, Job’s Daughters, Knights of Pythagoras, Rainbow Girls and Ruth Mitchell Tucker Girls held their second annual Power 5 Weekend at the Masonic Conference Center – Patton Campus April 25-27.

The program was planned and executed by a vibrant committee of youth group members and their adult leaders and included: educational sessions like public speaking and personal budgeting; fun activities featuring creative outreach programs including “Minute-to-Win-it” Lego team-building games, crafts and splatter painting exercises; community board thoughts and preferences postings; etiquette training; an interactive program on the LifeSkills Conference that will be held in July; and a service project that had the youth assembling “Blessing Bags” that featured youth-donated personal care items for families in great need.

It was an extremely successful and inspiring weekend for the youth and their adult leaders. Plans are already underway for the April 24-26, 2026 Power 5 Weekend.
