Degenhart Promoted to Director of Finance for Masonic Villages

Brother Brendan Degenhart was promoted to Director of Finance for the Masonic Villages in August. He is responsible for leading and managing financial operations, policies and compliance for the Masonic Villages and its entities. In addition to overseeing accounting systems, coordinating audits and submitting regulatory, tax and third-party cost reimbursement filings, Brendan directs financial planning, analysis and reporting; prepares budgets and projections based on statistical data; and provides strategic guidance to align financial strategies with organizational goals.

Brendan joined Masonic Villages in 2019 as Director of Mission Review, responsible for identifying, evaluating and implementing strategic and financial initiatives for the organization. He previously served as Director of Financial Planning & Analysis. He has been a key leader in leveraging technology to improve processes, reviewing internal controls and supporting special projects such as financing and construction initiatives.

Previously, Brendan was the Chief Financial Officer for the Girl Scouts in the Heart of Pennsylvania. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business from Bloomsburg University and a Master of Management degree from Penn State University.

Brendan is a member of Lafayette Lodge No. 194, Selinsgrove, where he serves as a Trustee and as a member of the audit committee.
