2024 – 2025 Accomplishments

When I took office as your Grand Master on Dec. 27, 2023, I shared my vision to “Ignite the Light Within”— by focusing on Growth, Unity and Renewal. I promised to foster an environment that encourages innovation, adaptability and inclusion, and to leverage technology to enhance communication, improve lodge operations and expand our outreach to potential candidates who share our values. I expressed a sincere commitment to strengthening our ties in the communities in which we live and work. Below are the accomplishments we have achieved:

Grand Lodge Operations

  • Formed the Operation Process and Strategy Committee to generate new ideas and best practices to benefit the Grand Lodge, its leadership and membership
  • Launched the Blue Lodge Revitalization and Membership Engagement committees, which have helped lodges to develop strategies to attract, introduce and retain members through enhanced planning, leadership, teambuilding, programming and engagement. Thanks to these efforts, there have been no mergers or lodge closings over the past two years.
  • Reinstated approximately 500 members through the Restoration Campaign
  • Rebranded the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania Masons and the individual Masonic Charities with new logos
  • Installed 24 new District Deputy Grand Masters and held regional meetings
  • Hosted a legislative dinner with brethren serving in policy-making roles to share fraternal-related concerns and issues we hope will be addressed in the future
  • Constituted a new lodge, Spartanburg Lodge No. 817, in June 2025
  • Celebrated the 25th Anniversary of the Academy of Masonic Knowledge
  • Revolutionized lodge audits through a streamlined regional IT process
  • Ensured fiscally responsible operations to leave the Grand Lodge in a sound financial position

Grand Lodge Programming

  • Partnered with America250PA to plant certified Liberty Trees in every county within the Commonwealth in preparation for our nation’s Semiquincentennial celebration
  • Sponsored a bus trip to the “Tomb of the Unknown Soldier” and placed a wreath in memory of those who made the ultimate sacrifice
  • Purchased, refurbished and rebranded a new Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania float to showcase Freemasonry during community parades
  • Hosted 600 brethren for Unity Day at the Masonic Temple in Philadelphia in January 2025 with members of the Grand Lodges of New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Connecticut and Puerto Rico
  • Conducted contests and awarded lodges with the best essays on their lodge history, the three most important members of their lodge and Freemasonry overall
  • Started a Santa Claus Club for Masons who spread Christmas cheer in their communities
  • Rode in the Grand Master’s Motorcycle Ride with the Widows Sons
  • Sold Grand Master’s Blend bourbon and Fraternal Flame cigars to benefit Masonic Charities

Masonic Charities

  • Launched a comprehensive architectural and engineering survey of the condition of the Masonic Temple in Philadelphia, from which we formed a 10-year capital improvements and investment plan to ensure the continued preservation of this magnificent National Historic Landmark
  • Commenced the Village Green project at the Masonic Village at Elizabethtown, which will replace the infrastructure of nine residential buildings to ensure continued functionality and the safety of our residents. In response to the needs expressed by our membership, these units will be transformed into a combination of more moderately priced retirement living apartments for our Masonic family on a priority basis and include updated features and larger accommodations for residents in the fraternal care program.
  • Brought the Masonic Blood + Organ Donor Program under the umbrella of the Masonic Charities to ensure its sustainability for years to come
